          Sportsmanship 

Today`s press often built a sport star`s success as how much money and honor he has . The general public, to some extent, loves to hear and admired the extreme wealth of a superstar in football, soccer, basketball, baseball, etc. However, the very nature of a sport is not about monetary achievement or honors but a spirit and enjoyment— that is, the sportsmanship. 

When I was a young boy, I did not really care about sports util when I was entering 4th grade. I met some good friends in the 4th grade ,and started to play soccer with them as pastime. I had always been enjoying watching soccer but never got a chance to play it before. I, surprisingly liked playing soccer immediately after. I clearly remembered my friends and I played soccer in the soccer field at our elementary school, sometimes even on the basketball field. 

I at this point did not have ideas about entering JV or varsity soccer team, or planning to get a scholarship to a good college for playing soccer: I just played for fun. I gradually found my talent in playing soccer, and I even became a starter in the field a year later. The most important gift from playing soccer in my childhood was not those merits but a longstanding and cherished friendship that still is keeping till today. 

After I went to a middle school in a different district, I met people who I completely  had not acquainted before. I was quit anxious about in what way I could make friends. This question was perfectly solved by soccer. I joined the soccer team in 7th grade and in there I met a person later as one of best friends. I still can remember in a winter someday in middl school, we played soccer just two of us on a soccer field covered with snow. Why did we play soccer in this extreme weather? Because we loved it. We loved the feeling touching the ball and running on the field. Since there were just two people in that field,My friend and me, we only could practice shooting like free kick and penalty. It now might sound boring, which it was boring, but ,when we were touching the ball on this snowy field, only felt we was as sense of joy and satisfaction. I guess that is the sportsmanship.

     Anthony Martial hit a dream start in premier league by scoring 3 goals in 2 games. In today`s game, Manchester United versus Southampton, Martial equalized with United's first shot on target and then took advantage of a terrible Maya Yoshida back pass to slot in a second.Then Juan Mata added the third goal for Manchester United and made sure that Manchester United would take 3 points with them back to Manchester. Clearly, the 19-year-old young French man, Martial responded to concerns and doubts from critics by leading Manchester United to the second place of premier league, only 2 pints away from the leading team, Manchester City. 

      Anthony Martial was born in December 5, 1995. Manchester United signed him from his former team, AS Monaco, for £36 million, potentially rising to £58 million, on a four-year contract with the option of another year. It is the highest payment for teenage in the history of football( according to English press). When the transfer firstly exposed to the public, most of soccer critic, including the manager of Manchester United, Louis van Gaal, called that transfer ridiculous. The manager of Manchester United claims that this transfter was made based on the future consideration since Martial shows his great potential to become a new " Henry". Though people doubt that he could everually become a same level ot even better level than Henry, his countryman, Martial has responded with amazing performance so far in premier League and in European Champion League.
     The young, prospective Frenchman, Anthony Martial, does resemble his forerunner, Henry, in several ways. First, they both gained a prominent strart of their resptive careers. Henry was shinning star in 1998 world cup, and then transfered to Junventus FC. Although He was able to compete a starting position in Juventus, he then transfered to Aresnsal at the age of 21, where He became the king of Harblem. Second, they all had a mature emotion and a sophisticated manner toward press and fans and his teamates, which was inportant to build up the chemistry of their teams. Third, They all had a strong confidence in the field without the supposed nervouness of a youngplayer.
     Since he has scored 3 gaols in 2 consecutive games in premier goal, he became the second player in Manchester United who accomplished this in the first two games. And remeber he could still Accomplish more if he can manage to maintain his outstanding performance.
    Besides Man United, The manager of French national team also would wine about this. After Benzama, He will be the second choice in ST/CF. Since the beginning of this term, Manchester United has suffered a lack of offend power due to sorry performance of Rooney, it is interesting to see whether Martial can stand up to increase Manchester United offend strength.
